Spiritual leadership is a way of influencing others to achieve a certain goal through valuable actions. In Islam, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH is an inspiring figure in carrying out his leadership practices. Some important characteristics that describe spiritual leadership are loyal. The meaning of loyal here is that a leader and the person being led must be loyal to Allah SWT, related to the goal, upholding Islamic law and morals, upholding trust, not arrogant, disciplined, consistent, and have a consistent character. The implementation of spiritual leadership in Islamic educational institutions is the cultivation of values that are not only oriented towards life in the world, but also life in the hereafter. Therefore, the madrasah head and teachers, in carrying out their duties, are not only limited to fulfilling administrative and teaching obligations, but also as a form of service to Allah SWT. The implementation of spiritual leadership in the madrasah is also practiced by emulating the leadership traits exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, including good communication between the madrasah head and its members, the madrasah head as a motivator, fair, honest, trustworthy, deliberation, and applying the principle of discipline.
